Advances in technology such as e-mail, cellular phones, and the Internet have made global communication more convenient. Companies create their own website to operate powerful information and sales channel with augmented geographical reach to inform and promote their businesses and products. By establishing a website, a company can endorse its products and services, and be able to give a little bit of its history and other information to those interested viewers. Technology has affected the learning environment tremendously, because training methods have evolved to a more advanced setting. I will not go far in siting an example.
With advancements in technology, some students have chosen to complete their schoolwork through the Internet, rather than in traditional classrooms. Those who support a traditional classroom approach to learning argue that it provides more of an opportunity for students to interact with the teacher and other students. Those who feel that learning over the Internet is better argue that it allows students to learn anytime and anywhere they choose. Do you feel education is better provided in traditional classrooms or when offered over the Internet? Write an essay to be read by a classroom teacher in which you persuade the reader that either traditional classroom education or Internet-based learning is better. With advancements in technology, some students have chosen to complete their schoolwork through the Internet, rather than in traditional classrooms.
Assignment #3a – Keyword – Deb Noren Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning Computer-supported collaborative learning (CSCL) is a pedagogical approach wherein learning takes place via social interaction using a computer or through the internet. This kind of learning is characterized by the sharing and construction of knowledge among participants using technology as their primary means of communication or as a common resource. (Wikipedia) I believe CSCL empowers students to take charge of their learning. They transition from ‘What can the teacher do for me?’ to ‘What can I do for myself?’. When working with others, the strength in numbers instills confidence, heightens cognitive ability and results in a higher level of learning.

COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY IN EDUCATION ENGL-101 Liberty University September 9, 2013 The debate of rather a computer is an empowering tool to those who embark upon it still exist today. A computer in the hands of a hard-working student is an important and empowering tool that, if utilized to the fullest potential, can be capable of encouraging that student to become a success in his or her studies. In today’s society, technology has become an integral part of education. It allows students and teachers access to information, show students real world, help with research projects, and prepares for jobs. I believe that with the many technological advances that have been made throughout history computers have made life easier.
And it seems that the computer literacy is very important which particularly effect contemporary young people’s mental development. This essay will explore how to properly operate a computer, and what pros and cons they will bring. Contemporary computers are multimedia machines with sophisticated audio capabilities to accompany the video displays (Jewitt 2006cited in Jack J. Hourcade•Howard P. Parette Jr. •Nichole Boeckmann • Craig Blum 2010 p485). It is true that variety of audio outputs are widely used in schools and colleges that they have become an essential feature of modern education. (Bitter and Pierson 2005 cited in Jack, Howard., Jr, Boeckmann, & Blum, 2010).
The main objective of education is to assist learners in their learning process. Each learner is different from others in a way that they require diversity in instructional methods. Over the years, educators experienced various priorities as new educational theories are emerging. Researchers and transformers have come up with several studies on education with latest findings for improving the pedagogical approaches of learning. There are several theories of diversity in education, however, three main theories based on historical events and problems faced by educators and learners are cultural deficit theory, cultural difference theory and cultural ecological theory (Bolima, 2010).
Hubspot Case Study Analysis Inbound Marketing- an innovative marketing strategy founded by the Hubspot creators, was developed on the concept that to get customers to be interested in your product, “pulling” them in by use of Web 2.0 technology was much more effective than using traditional methods of marketing that pushed products and services to target audience who may be unwilling or uninterested in the offer at the particular time. Hubspot created software products that enabled its customers to market their products/services with the use of new age tools like Search Engine Optimization(SEO), Social Media, Blogs, Podcasts and social networking websites like Twitter, Facebook etc. This effectively replaced the traditional marketing strategies used by them. Hubspot is challenging the Marketing world by implementing new rules through a new age platform. And this is not without achieving results.
Vygotsky's (1978/1981) social constructivism (SC) theory suggests that teachers can use an alternative instructional method by engaging students with a set of approaches and strategies. Vygotsky’s SC approach reflects on creating a learning setting which, allows students to negotiate meaning through learning by doing to facilitate wireless computing within the classroom (Woo and Lim, 2009). Teacher training and input in their personal view points on technology integration professional learning experiences are essential for constructive changes (So &ump; Kim, 2009). Teacher training and point of views through the social constructivism (SC) theory can create opportunities to provide hands-on learning and enables students to access electronic books, study, review, research or explore through SC concept (Zucker &ump; King, 2009). Ryu, Parsons, Li, Sheng &ump; Javed (2009) found that the antidote to learning, requires referencing prior knowledge to recent experiences, referencing different situations to similar, past situations, and then incorporating what one has learned to the past foundation.
