Unit 4222-202 Outcome 1 Understand what is required for competence in own work role 1. My role in my job is to give the right care for each resident I tend for, this is always done with the respect and dignity the resident deserve. My responsibilities are to make sure I communicate with residents and staff to make sure the residents understand what I am going to be doing for them, and communication with staff is important to the correct information is handed over. 2. The main standards of my job role are to provide a high level of professional care to all residents giving them the upmost dignity and respect and also giving families and friend’s emotional support.
Nobody can take away your level of effort. Another core belief that I have is to always look at the best in things no matter what. This belief helps a ton when you think that things aren't going your way. I got this belief from my parents also. My parents really believed in shaping me into a good person when i was younger.
I view myself as a very honest, strong and sensible person when it comes to both at work everyday life and academic environments. Which I learned this behavior from my parents in my younger childhood days. I was always taught this saying, “Treat others the way you expect to be treated.” So senses then I have always treated others equally. My ethical I have gained through my life experiences I will include my personal behaviors, respect, commitment, accountability, values, and caring into every aspect in life. I will always conduct myself at a point of mortality and ethics as it is measured by code of conduct both at work and in everyday life, and how I will conduct myself in a professional manner to be supportive with co-workers and fellow students while in school.
Her consistency is really outstanding. No matter what it may be, she finishes everything she starts. Things that she wants done will always be completed even if she has to do it herself. If she believes in something, it is hard for anyone to discourage her away from it. Everyone sees where her heart lies, which is being a faithful and trustworthy friend to everyone.
I want to help anyone I possibly can, and most would use the word selfless. Almost all the time I am smiling about something. I am a very positive person and like to see the “good” in everyone and everything. I try to make everyone feel special, because they are. There’s more to that smile than just always being happy.
“If there is no struggle there is no progress,” these words spoken by Fredrick Douglas, reflect the essence of my families’ motivation to stay strong and always peruse a better life. This quote is especially significant to me because it reflects my drive and passion to achieve my own dreams in life. My parents played a major role in inspiring me to help other people, and to work hard to achieve my goals; they thought me by example. I realized that I have been blessed to have the parents that I do. I deeply value what they have thought me: the strength, integrity, and compassion for others.
Also parents and carers can trust practitioners as information is regularly communicated throughout the setting and any concerns are addressed in a professional environment that encourages open communication. Conclusion: The reasons why people communicate and what effects communication has within an early years setting is that communication is the main core of all positive relationships within the setting, without effective communication the fulfilment of your job role would not be able to be completed in a professional manner. You need to be able to communicate freely with all members of your team, your management, children, parents and other professionals to ensure the child receives the full care they are entitled to. Therefore communication plays a vital role in your day to day life and that if you don’t communicate and form positive relationships from the start this will affect your job as a child’s key person and may lead to further problems within your work
2. LIVE LIFE, LEARN TO LOVE AND LEAVE A LEGACY First; an effective leader will live their lives to the fullest. For example, put God first, then family, and then their job. It was for their active support feedback without which my survey would not have been successful. I also acknowledge my colleagues, who spent their precious time in providing feedback and helping me in my survey. I extend my thanks to all my other faculty members and the above mentioned faculties who have taught us the level of professionalism, dedication and discipline it takes for one to complete a project. 3 Lastly, but not the least, I thank my parents, my family and my friends for their immense support and help. THANK YOU.
