Lopez also included more use of the percussion and brass instruments such as the tuba, trombone, trumpet and horn making the suspense grow. The upper stringed instruments complimented the flute very nicely since they both have that soothing sound. This piece consisted of two different movements. The second part of it was a lot more allegro, upbeat, and energized. It symbolized the eternal love that no one, not even a powerful king, could take away.
Yuanyuan Mao MUS-120 10:20AM 17/10/2012 symphonic band My first concert experience Last Friday night, I got my first concert experience in Van Meter Hall for University symphonic band concert. It was a memorable musical feast. The first program is called Fanfare for the Ozarks. Before it beginning, The bandmaster introduced the principal flute for us. Fanfare has a dramatic start, just like a communicating between difference instruments.
Throughout the entire musical there was a significant job by the brass as a whole and I loved how it added to the show. The warm tone of the trumpets and trombones added to the dark and casual atmosphere, and was far more effective than a woodwind instrument as the lead, for this would create a sharp and often light hearted feel to most songs. The entire orchestra did a great job adding the background and really enhanced the emotion behind the musical. They mostly kept in the background, instead of being overpowering, keeping the focus on the play, not the music. Without an orchestra, a musical would just be very plain and boring due to the fact that the catchy tunes kept me
With string, brass, woodwind, and percussion the music became dramatic and kind of heavy mood to it. I think the concert went well, organized, and great performance. I like how they did where they have a dance performance, for me it’s very unusual for a concert or a symphony concert to have a ballet dance with the orchestra. I would go again and recommend it to someone who also loves to listen to this type of
The piano was present with consonant yet vivace notes. Although the piano over took the choir in certain parts but they gained their momentum back. By the end of the show I noticed the choir had put their all into the song. I felt a warm sense of energy. This choir had to me the most proper attire for the occasion; Apple Festival apparel.
There’s a nice piano, bass and drum accompaniment that help to establish the laid-back feel of the music. I quite like Adam’s musical style as it has lots of variety and unique techniques to it that other music doesn’t really have. It’s very groovy and it can make you want to dance, rest or chill out to it. He plays with such propulsive intensity that leaves audience’s wonderstruck and engaged to keep
My favorite characters were the dynamic duo, Cogsworth and Lumiere. Whenever either one of them or both of them waltzed onto the stage, I knew there would be laughter rippling through the audience. Another hilarious character was Lefou. The actor played a convincing role as Gaston’s henchman and doesn’t mind getting beat up a couple of times. The voices of the main characters, Belle and the Beast were amazing!
The exposition of Symphony No. 5 is a lively one, with those first notes played by the orchestra, to open up the listeners ears. The first few measures ensure the listener that the theme is what it is, and that throughout the song, slight, but also vast variances are heard. The first theme ranges from the beginning up to 55 seconds and then moves on into theme 2. Theme two starts at about 55 seconds and takes us off with a happy, major, melodic feeling that ends around 1:30.
The History remarks of Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata impacts majority of young pianist learners and educators that are deeply in love with absolute music. The past of a deaf man has led music lovers and bystanders far more astonished than ever to see what he can ever understand. His most relaxed , upbeat and attention-seeked piece Moonlight Sonata is composed in the summer of 1801 in hungary and published to the public in 1802. The song title was acknowledged by poet Ludwig Rellstab who, in 1832 had an inspiration on a moon lit night on the banks of the Lucerna River. As a fan of music history and passion for past artist whom created a trademark that plays today.
The music then was not as energetic but it seemed strong because it had a full orchestra which told me that Frodo along with everyone else were ready for whatever was to come. Thirdly I want to talk about the background music during the fight scenes. Now the fight scenes were my favorite, not because it had a lot of sword fight but the music made it
