ABSTRACT The aviation industry is a vast industry that is still seemingly in the shade of development aside from the fact that a lot of significant development has already been affected. The manufacture of airplanes both private and commercial has greatly been influenced by computers. The control of these model airplanes has also been affected by computers with the possibility of future advancement with the aid of our rapidly growing technological capacity. Security has also emerged as a major factor in both the aviation and aerospace industries as a result of the influence of computers on the aviation field. Furthermore, the advent end use of computers in these fields has greatly marginalized its assets and resources to their full potential. In the earlier days computers and their software were the missing piece in the puzzle to a bright future in the aviation industry but now owing to computers the dream that once seemed impossible is now at hand and fascinatingly is the future possibility of the automation of flights which is to be owed to the fact that computers cannot be limited in their capabilities. THESIS STATEMENT Manufacture and control of planes today has been made easier by computers. This is due to the fact that computers are fast, accurate, diligent, and programmable to work automatically (automation). As a result of this, there has been increased production, improved quality, cost reduction and above all fast and efficient production.
