COMPUTERS AND THEIR INFLUENCE ON DAILY ROUTINES There are many advantages and disadvantages of owning and using a computer. The main advantage is that you can now communicate instantly with friends, family, and co-workers. You no longer need to send them a letter that will take 3 days to get there and then wait for a reply but that is also a disadvantage since you have no excuse of your abscense from certain events like before because you could have found out their time and date on the internet. There are many advantages for people using computers such as the computer helps you quicken and automate various tasks that you cannot do manually, it has so many search engines where you can find any information you need, texts, images, videos, music, anything, it can help you communicate with your friends and family, coworkers and other people, it has more computing and calculating power than an ordinary human, you can easily organise your data and information which means you can do your job easier and faster than before, maybe even with more quality, and ofcourse there are games... a good distraction from real life when you need it, and cheaper than a holiday! There are also bad sides of the computer usages, some people would say that computers make us dull. Computers can also bring us to the brink of destroying our social life and interactions with humans if not balanced correctly between virtual and real world. It can affect your health in numerous bad ways such as downgrading your eye sight, chronic back pain etc. Computers can also distracts us and deviate our toughts and activities towards unproductive activities, for an example, someone would rather play some game than study.
