Comparison of Tap Water to Bottled Water Abstract Bottled water is found everywhere, in stores, restaurants, vending machines, and offices. It has no calories, healthier than sodas and other beverages, so convenient to purchase and carry. But many people wonder if this form of drinking water is safer to consume than tap water. In this paper we will compare bottled water from tap water and note the differences in its sterilization/disinfection and the certain chemical found in them. We will also identify the regulating agencies for both. Comparison of Tap Water to Bottled Water’s Quality The quality of our drinking water is an influential determinant of our health. Guarantee of the safety of our drinking water is a foundation for the prevention and control of waterborne diseases and public health and safety of our population.
