1.3: Depression, delirium and age related memory impairment could be mistaken for dementia as they all manifest with similar symptoms. Depression coupled with age related memory impairment looks the same as dementia to the untrained eye. The difference is that depression delirium responds to treatment with anti depressants. Once you get on top of the depression you can put age related memory loss into perspective. If it is genuine dementia it won't get better.
This sense of control is only further strengthened by another technique used by both poets, the regular inclusion of caesuras. Molloy and Browning deploy caesuras to create a blunt and snappy tone to their controlling characters narrative. This bluntness illustrates the characters expectance of respect they will get from the reader, just like the respect gained from their respective loved ones due to their dominant and powering demeanour. However, there are also some stark differences in between the two texts as well, with Les Grands Seigneurs being written in four stanzas compared to only the one stanza being used to narrate the entirety of My Last Duchess. This difference in structure deployed by the authors could represent the different manners in which opposite genders will refer to love in, with the female character in Les Grands Seigneurs being composed and polite in her acknowledgement of the importance of males in her life.
If unable to communicate service users would be denied this right. In my role as a volunteer I must communicate effectively with all manner of individuals and I have to be aware of how my non verbal communication can be off putting to some individuals. For example, my height can intimidate, my accent can be misinterpreted as aggressive/authoritarian, my tattoos and clothing could be seen as a comfort to someone who identifies with that fashion. All of these issues can impact on communication with an individual who has specific communication needs. By ensuring that I am on same level by sitting down, and by speaking slowly, clearly and calmly, I can ensure that the individual is comfortable and happy to talk to me.
It’s also easier to make the critical voice ego dystonic, something the client eventually rejects as “not me.” At the same time that you are identifying and naming the pathological critic, you can also introduce the client to his or her “healthy voice.” The healthy voice is the client’s ability to think realistically. By emphasizing and strengthening this ability you are positioning the client to begin talking back to the critic. Names that are typically used for the healthy voice include “my rational part,” “my accepting part,” “my compassionate part," “my healthy coach,” and so on. Choose a name that fits the client’s self-concept (i.e.,

In chapter 14, starting on page 103 at “I wasn’t knocked out or anything” and ending on page 104 at “while I was bleeding and all”, a theme portrayed was Mortality. A way that mortality is portrayed through this paragraph is by word choice. J.D. Salinger has Holden using strong word choice by saying words such as: drowning, plugged, staggering, trickling, high-pitched, leaking, and screaming. Using strong word choice can also help the reader imagine a vivid picture; dull and boring words may prevent the reader from seeing vivid pictures.
