If the author wanted the show the two characters making different choices and moving on different paths he/she could have plainly shown independent characters. As the two individual with very similar background what really distinguishes the two is the choices they made, and at this moment question raised i.e. can we really make the neat division between the good and bad choice. This is where the protagonist differs from other “Pretty Boys” like Bobby on moral grounds, where the protagonist concerned towards problems in the real world like hunger in Africa or social issues like why music is part of community, was not ready to trade off his physical sense for implied exaltedness. On the other hand, Bobby found trade off his physical sense better option.
Some cultures prefer being closer than usual when talking and others prefer their own personal space. Our textbook states that people from different cultures view personal space differently these cultures
Some may not be able to speak or have fairly limited speech, whilst other will have good language skills but not understand the give-and-take nature of speech and will often talk at length about themselves and their own interests. Difficulties include not being able to cope with change in routines unless given enough time to adjust, not wanting to try new activities and not being able too enjoy activities with a group of people, restrictions can include diet, clothing surroundings due to, in some cases, heightened sensitivity to things such as taste, smell, noise and touch. OUTCOME 2 It is important to recognise that each individual has their own abilities, needs, strengths, preferences and interests so you can provide the care and support they need and avoid unnecessary distress. It is a spectrum condition as while all people with autism share certain difficulties the condition will affect them in different ways. Individuals with autism can also have accompanying learning difficulties, ADHD Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and other learning difficulties such as dyslexia and dyspraxia
It is in our nature to open ourselves for others to be able to come inside, however, we have to love ourselves in order to be able to love someone else just as equally or even more. Others may argue, that if friendship is human nature then why isn't there more of it? Is it actually viewed as true friendship? We can usually see friendship in a various amount of places but the real question is whether the relationship is genuine or not. There are only a small quantity of friends that you can honestly call your true friends.
Stereotyping no doubt serves a purpose at times, however, it is up to the individual to get to know either the other individual or members of that group to determine if their perceptions are correct. Most stereotypes probably tend to convey a negative and positive impression (Clark, R., Anderson, N.B., Clark, V.R., and Williams, D.R, 1999). Positive stereotypes are good qualities that are assigned to groups of people based on various characteristics, including their race, nationality and sexual orientation among others. The negative stereotypes are present regarding a specific group, group members are likely to become anxious about their performance, which may hinder their ability to perform at their maximum level, behavior, judgment. There can be differences between people but then again there are differences in a person`s family so there are chances of a people being rude to one another but that is not an entire culture acting, that is just an ignorant individual who needs guidance. In contrast to this attempt by Holtzman to bring two groups together Hopper adds “ however, as well as contributing to the development of multicultural societies, the process of globalization can serve to
Team Conflict, Collaboration, and Trust Cultural differences often result in varying degrees of conflict and require careful consideration (Mohammed & White, 2008). Hofstede’s (1980) analysis of culture from several dimensions provides a useful way to think about how and why coworkers might behave differently. Team members from a culture with a low Masculinity value may be more willing to spend time on team building exercises, and may appreciate the opportunity to get familiar in a social, less formal situation as opposed to a team from a high Masculinity culture. Members from these countries may be impatient with the team building functions, and prefer to dive right into the work required. These cultural differences can lead to conflict.
Another example could be differences in personality. Maybe one of them is outgoing and the other one is calm and quiet. For some couples this might be an issue that they can’t change but they could work around. They could take turns doing different things that both like doing instead of focusing on what one person likes. Another reason of lack of communication in a relationship is dishonesty.
Some maybe more timid than others and don’t mind if they’re not making the strong crucial decisions. They could feel that their partner handles things better than they can and doesn’t mind if they take the reins. When this happens, I believe the children would be more respectful to the one emphasizing the power. They could be looking at the other parent as a push over and that they could run over them. Power could also be given to one by because of culture.
The audience –subject relationship will probably be broad due to age differences in our class and different opinions. I expect for some people to disagree with my view of this interpretation. They might simply look at this article as a story about helping the less fortunate people become equal and how the more fortunate are being hindered in the process, but not how it effect’s humanity as a whole. They might also argue the references about the Vonnegut’s war experiences influencing this story. Audience-writer relationship would have to be that we are all classmates.
