Although silence has a dark side, there is also a bright side. Ishmael Chamber’s heart goes through a lot of pain throughout the story. But Ishmael learns that being the bigger and better person will result in good outcomes. He learns a lot during the story, Hatsue is happier than she could ever be with him; she has a husband and family. Even though they do have history, Ishmael needs to move on from the past.

The main character in Birds, Clouds, Frogs had a boring job which he hated and he was not doing anything with his life. One day, he realized that there was another way to live, and that was by contributing a verse and not going through life like you are forced too, but he did not take up on his opportunity to change his lifestyle and contribute a verse. O Me! O Life!
In Tuesdays With Morrie by Mitch Albom, Morrie teaches Mitch many things about life. Some of these things are: how to live happily, not to fear death, and to stand back and assess his life to determine what is there and what is missing from it. Morrie truly changed Mitch’s views on life and left a great mark in his heart. Morrie teaches Mitch that he should live life happily and not fear anything. This is obvious in the story.
Then it goes through the history of character ethics and how society seemed to have lost these ethics to personality ethics. It shows the usefulness of the character ethics techniques in either your business or personal life. If you are not really looking to make a change in your life it will be tough to get through all of the first sixty two pages. This book takes you through numerous steps in each of the seven habits. The author makes no promises of an easy fix to anyone.
Suzanne Britt also states that neat people don't care about process and we like results (311). Yes I do like results, but I don't attempt to get everything done just so I can watch TV. I don't like to handle things twice this is true, but I don't throw everything away. I think that when Suzanne Britt wrote this essay the economy wasn't in the tank. I will hold on to some items, but at the same time I will make sure that this is an item that I can use at some point, but if I cant I will dispose of it immediately.

Which technique is best to use seems to be subjective. In both Joan Didion’s essay “On Keeping a Notebook” and Patricia Hampl’s essay “The Dark Art of Description” illustrates this fact clearly. While Joan Didion uses rhetorical questions, personal anecdotes, and imaginary facts to record her life experiences, Patricia Hampl uses imagery and vignettes in her writings, but based on the fact that Patricia Hampl uses less falsehoods in her stories, her style of writing is more appealing to the reader. Joan Didion uses rhetorical questions in her notebook to engage readers into the story of her notebook writings.
