Compare shopping online with traditional shopping. Online shopping has grown massively over the last decade and shows no signs of slowing down. While traditional stores have been around for hundreds of years, shopping online has become so big that many companies are not investing in buildings and mall space, rather in online websites and web advertising. Everyone has their own preference in regards to traditional shopping versus online shopping. Personally, I’ve had a lot online shopping experiences. I usually buy from websites with a huge variety of sellers to be sure that I get the best price. When you’re looking for the best price, it requires research. The best price is more often found online, but not always. Online merchants will sometimes sell you an item for double the retail price. When the price isn’t doubled, it may be the same price plus shipping costs. Therefore, you still won’t have the best price. This item could possibly be on sale in retail stores. In-store shopping can be most convenient for those who are rarely at home and don’t have time to compare prices. It’s especially convenient for those who work outside of home and students on campus. In-store shopping can also be a lot quicker since you don’t have to worry about shipping. All you have to do is grab the item you want, step in line, and buy it. However, when shopping for clothing, in-store shopping is definitely a best option. The main reason is because you get to try on clothes. If it’s a store that doesn’t have fitting rooms, you can still view it clearly and place it against you. You can’t do this at all with online shopping. You will just have to trust the size and measurements. At times, people received items with completely different measurements than they described. Both ways of either shopping online or shopping in stores have positives, negatives, similarities and differences
