Recently there are two great entertainers - Madonna Louise Ciccone Ritchie, known as Madonna, and Britney Spears, compared one to another as the “”Queens of pop”. They are both American female recording artists and entertainers. However, Madonna is born in Bay City, Michigan on August 16, 1958, while Britney is born in Macomb, Mississippi. In the same way they are both singers, dancers, songwriters, actresses, and authors, and they both use their vocals, but they play on different instruments. Madonna play on guitar and percussion, while Britney plays piano. Just as Spears is ranked from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), so as Madonna. However, Spears is ranked as the eighth best-selling female recording artist in the United States according to the RIAA with 31 million certified albums and one of the world's best-selling music artists having sold an estimated 83 million records worldwide. In contrast Madonna is ranked as the best-selling female rock artist of the twentieth century and the second top-selling female artist in the United States with 63 million certified albums. Each of these fabulous artists has been regarded as "one of the greatest pop acts of all time" and dubbed the "Queen of Pop" by various sources. In the same way Madonna and Spears are in the Guinness World Records but Madonna is listed as the world's most successful female recording artist of all time and the top-earning female singer in the world with an estimated net worth of US$490 million, having sold over 200 million records worldwide while Spears also holds the title to multiple records such as Most Searched Person on the Internet (2009). In addition, Madonna and Britney are both legends not only in their genre but universally. There was no bigger legend in pop than Madonna.
