Some places where the films differed were the assassination scene, and the acting of particular characters. At other instances, such as the orations, both editions were similar in the way they approached the scene. The advantage of a color version is an obvious one, and that is that the viewers feel as if the scene they are viewing is more realistic. A perfect example of how scenery and color was utilized to better portray the story was the assassination of Julius Caesar. Although a shocking event in both adaptations, the color version better fit the mood of the attack on Caesar’s life.
Meghan Browne Mrs. Lorencz English 12A Per. 1 27 November 2007 Beowulf vs. Bulvine Only Hollywood can take fantasy and have people question the reality of the story. In the movie, The Thirteenth Warrior, they have taken the fiction, epic poem, “Beowulf”, and made the monsters, heroes, and situations real. However, there is still likeness in the two stories. One main similarity between the movie and the story (and probably the most important) is the element of an epic hero whom dies after saving his people.

The use of high-key and low-key lighting is exactly what is says, high-key lighting (4) system, this ratio is high; there is a high amount of fill light which washes out shadows cast by the key light. In low-key (3) it’s just the opposite; the ratio of fill to key light is low. Shadows cast by the key light are not completely filled in producing a shadowy effect and an uneven distribution of light (Belton 53). Because of this new type of lighting system it puts Casablanca still in another category, Hollywood’s classic film noir period. Film noir is most notable for its cinematic look; black and white cinematography, intense use of shadows and darkness, and distorted scenes.
In the scene where Moore successfully wins the battle against K-Mart selling bullets he is viewed by a low camera angle, which implies his power and capability. However the most important use of camera angles is when Michael Moore targets Charlton Heston. When the NRA rally comes to town, footage is shot with a low camera angle to emphasise Charlton Heston’s power and authority. However after his interview with Michael Moore, a high camera angle is employed which takes power away from Heston. When he shuffles away after being exploited and exposed on film Heston appears
I like how she’s indestructible when it comes to eliminating all those in her path. Even though she does not talk much in the movie, yet her impact in the film is very strong. Another good part of the movie is the action and special effects. With the advancement of CGI or Computer Generated Imagery technology, action sequences are shot nicely especially during the big car chases between John Conner and the two Terminators. Computer Generated Imagery is used for visual effects because Computer Generated Effects are more

Anything and everything will be left on the line to be fought over. In most cases, whoever is standing last will tend to be victorious; temporally to say the least. However, for the sniper, being dead will be just as much as a victory than for being alive. The very end of O’Flaherty’s story displays a nail biting scene between the sniper and the un-named enemy trying to take the life of one another. By using strategy, the sniper figures out a way to fool the enemy and kills him.
The release date is among the information at the bottom of the page although it’s bigger and more noticeable, this is because it’s a good way of making the audience eager to see the film. Only three colours are used: red, white and black, highlighting the fact that the film is horror. The use of red isn’t surprising as the colour red connotes: horror, blood, danger etc. Black creates a sinister feeling yet keeps the poster very simple so that it stands out more to the
