Goldworthy studied in Bradford college of ART from 1974-1975, then moved to preston polytechnic (university of central Lancashire..1975-1978). Goldsworthy has received 3 awards including the Scottish arts council award (1987), honorary degree from university of Bradford (1993) and OBE (2000).
