In this essay it would be compared and contrasted the viewpoints on global warming, and discuss about the different issues that people say cause the global warming as well as the defensive points of those supposed causes that affect the environment and cause this effect. It is true that throughout the years the global warming has increased a lot, and everyone can be a witness of that by watching how the weather has changed through the years and it is clear that it’s not the same weather as years ago. It’s clear that humans have caused this during the past century as we create new things and pollute more each time the environment, but also due to those technological advances we have a lot of new things and due to those advances we have made conscience of this, in the past years it is said that the ozone layer has started to regenerate which is a start. Most people blame the global warming on scientists and industries, but it’s not just them who affect it’s everyone and everything causes global warming, today people can’t go a day without causing global warming. This is a very important issue that has been more noticed everyday, people are trying to change their daily routines to help but it is still of great concern that we should start doing something extreme to help with this issue. Reports of rapid disintegration of Greenland’s ice ignore the fact that the region was warmer than it is now for several decades in the early 20th century, before humans could have had much influence on climate (Michaels, 2006). Similar stories concerning Antarctica neglect the fact that the net temperature trend in recent decades is negative, or that warming the surrounding ocean can serve only to enhance snowfall, resulting in a gain in ice (Michaels, 2006).
