Both Rome and Han China established control of their territory though fighting and defending land. Testaments of this can be seen when Rome used legions that consisted of heavy infantry.
They were similar in which they were both centralized. Also, they both had a dominant religion that played as a factor in the empires decision making. Even though both the Han Dynasty (206-220 CE) and the Imperial Roman Empire (31 BCE- 476 CE) became the strongest empires of their time, they differed in achieving that goal through their political systems, which were centered around their governments. Imperial Rome and Han China formed distinctive methods of social and political control. To China, the centerpiece that supervised everything was knows as Confucianism.

Comparative Essay As time progressed, many civilizations began to improve and evolve into more sophisticated societies. The Achaemenid Empire of Persia and the Han Dynasty of China are two of the most successful societies during this time period. The methods used by these two societies to control their territories contribute to their accomplishment. While the Achaemenid Empire used a different method to handle their foreign issues compared to the Han Dynasty, both empires used similar systems to control their territories such as dividing their empires into districts and developing a road system. A major difference between the methods used by the Achaemenid Empire and the Han Dynasty would be the way they handled foreign issues.

These tribes started a great civilization in Central, and South America. Mayan the Aztec, Inca, and Mayan civilization had characteristics that were similar and different to each other. Pros of Western Imperialism are Most of the profits went back to industrialized nations. It allowed them to spread Christianity, and allowed new products like coffee from South America. The artistic view as well comes into play as many of the arts influenced western sculptors and painters. Modern banking systems were a stem from imperialism. The Mexica society also known as the Aztecs became much more advanced and modernized in its comparison to the Mounds people. The cultures both use similar survival methods and are know for dividing their populace into class levels. Each culture’s religious rituals have exceptional differences. The Aztecs took their religious practices much more seriously and focused their efforts more on sacrificial acts whereas the Mounds people were more simplistic, primarily focused on Polytheism without the act of sacrifice.
