They are often seen being worn by celebrities, top athletes and famous musicians. Beats is recognized for its compelling campaigns and creative strategies. They are consistently looking for opportunities to insert their brand to make a positive impression that fits perfectly into the marketplace. Today it is more important than ever to build better relationships with customers as, in this day and age of social media, they now talk to hundreds of people at a time. This creates a platform making it easier for positive and negative messages to spread fast and wide. The goal of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is to have a full view of the customer which will enable a company to improve the quality and satisfaction of each customer interaction and maximize the profitability of its customer relationships, creating a win­win for both the company and its customers. Beats has succeeded in creating and retaining its customer relationships by implementing successful CRM strategies. Beats sends a message that they are a brand for sports and music lovers and it is received as authentic and credible. Beats sticks to their message always by letting their customers know of their presence at major sports and music events. They use Youtube and other social media outlets to launch their ad campaigns. For example, for the 2012 Summer Olympics, Beats sent every athlete a pair of headphones and they were not even an official sponsor.
