Coming from very little advantages will not determine ones success in life. Very little advantages means not always having the best education or resources. Also meaning the environment may not be the best or the safest to live in at times. Coming from a low class does not determine whether you will fail or be successful in anything that a child does coming from very little. Children coming from little advantage miss out on an amount of things.
(MD, 2012) Instead, they gear toward the needs of commuter students. Therefore, you will not find the vibrant community life that comes with living on a college campus. (Suite101, 2012) People say you do not receive a college experience by attending a community college because the campus life does not exist. Obama has made promises of making college more affordable, but has taken no real action in doing so. The citizens that fall under the low-income category are either not admitted into certain institutions because of their status or because they are not able to afford their education, therefore not being able to take advantage of this education. Institutions are also not able to provide students the best experience due to the several students in each class and providing faculty with a salary they deserve in order to provide their students with the best and most affordable experience
Person centred planning reflects the persons capacities, what is important to the person now and in the future and specifies the support they require to make a valued contribution to their community 1.2 Describe ways of supporting the individual to lead assessment and planning process. At each stage of the process, you should check with the person that the plan is following the ideas they have for how they want their service to be delivered. Education: The process in which an individual gains pointless knowledge for the opportunity to get wealthy. America's education system is awful at properly educating their students. The type of education that is taught in high school is only to prepare you for what you're actually going to learn in college. A lot of the courses being offered at high schools are impractical in our daily lives, such as trigonometry, Hawaiian history and British literature. These courses are useless unless you're going to major in one of those subjects, but most of us aren't.
Potential steps of community engagement for community design could range from project consultation with relevant stakeholders, providing information and services during public participation development, and decision making involvement on certain issues to reach final design and implementations. It is also crucial to include as many participants in community design as possible. Those stakeholders may come from groups of local residents, interest based group, cultural groups, voluntary groups, virtual groups, public agencies, and private sectors. It depends on facilitators and project managers to choose and apply the methods by considering appropriateness and strengths in each one of them.
18-year olds barely have any time and are under gargantuan amounts of stress, forcing them to do community service will hurt their general well being. I agree with my opponent, Community Service is a great thing if done from the heart. But, forcing careless teenagers to work around an issue they do not care about is not going to help the community rather their sloppy and negligent work may do the exact opposite. Community service is supposed to be voluntary and if a person volunteers to do community service that is all fine and well but forcing students to do something that they do not care about nor want to do will not help anyone. Community service should come from the heart, it shouldn't be forced.
Many think that community involvement is just something you are forced to do to graduate. They participate in community involvement because they have to, but I do it because I want to. Community involvement is a way of giving back to community. I like making people feel as though they matter, and it gives me a warm feeling at the end of the day because I know I have made a difference. Community involvement is very important.
