I tried to use a font that looked some what like a type writer and used a background that makes the paper looked aged and ripped. One of the stylistic devices that I used throughout the letter was rhetorical questions such as “Do you remember the good times that we used to have?” and “The picnics that we always use to take?” This was done to make the letter more personal because Gatsby is bringing up moments form the past. The rhetorical questions also make the arguments that he makes in the letter stronger because he is making the audience (Daisy) question her self.
