Recycling Samantha Brownlee March 26, 2012 COM/172 Monique Derr They’re some negatives to recycling, but the positives outweigh them. A lot of people use and consume a lot of things that can be recycled, so it’s important to inform people about recycling. Recycling turns waste into valuable resources. Collecting used bottles, cans, and newspapers and taking them to the curb is just the first step in protecting the environment. It’s better for the environment, but its’ fun. According to Harmony enterprise Inc. (2012) there has been an approximate 100% increase in total recycling in the past decade.
