The mission statement posted on the website of Club IT by the owners Ruben Keys and Lisa Tejadas states, “We, Ruben and Lisa, offer you live music, DJ's, dance space and refreshments that suit your lifestyle. You are our friends, and we seek to build a community that meets regularly at Club IT." Based on the foregoing, the owners seeks to offer its clients a pleasant atmosphere where they can enjoy live music with in-house DJ’s, adequate dance space and refreshments that suits all lifestyles. They want existing and potential clients to see themselves as friends of the club and a place where they can meet other people in the community. It would appear from the mission statement that Club IT caters for a variety of people with different backgrounds including college students and working class adults who might be married or unattached, and who are looking for a place they can hang out and have a good time. The owners have invested heavily into the business and have just completed extensive remodeling of the interior of Club IT and they are quite pleased with the club’s ceilings and high-energy lighting which creates an ambience of fun and liveliness. In order to accomplish their mission and serve their clients, the owners have implemented information resources including Intranet. Club IT’s website provides useful information that anyone can use to decide whether or not to become a member of the club and the information is functional for both clients and employees. It lists the music genres that the Club plays which includes Hip-hop, Techno, Electronica, MP3 and live music with they say is the right sound and the right volume. The website also has a calendar which highlights the different genres offered and the specific month when each genre is featured.
