To start off, I have maintained a 3.7 cumulative grade point average throughout my high school career while being highly active in a year round travel team and holding a job. I also took drawing my sophomore year and I got straight A’s in the class. My junior year I took photography because I was always obsessed with taking picture of everything. I was voted top photographer of my class of 30. Now at my senior year I am taking crafts and it kept me
Miracle Recovery December 15, 2006, a family decided to rent out a cabin in Big Bear for the weekend to have a blast not knowing what one of the family members had coming for them. Everyone had been so excited and had been looking forward to this trip for weeks. Finally when the day came and everyone arrived to Big Bear, the family was so eager about going out to play in the snow because they had never seen it before; so they decided to go out that very same day and find a spot they thought was open and safe. Unfortunately, after the first 30 minutes, one of them had an accident playing in the snow and had to be rushed to the emergency room by the paramedics. Everyone was so frightened; they did not know how bad the accident was.
She loved her little sister so much and they were best friends. Because of her Dad’s job as a lawyer, he had to move the family a lot to find work. In 1908, when she was 11 years old, she went to the Iowa State Fair with her Dad. She saw
Sitting in my Dual-Credit Teacher Cadet Class listening to my instructor tells us, “see at this stage of life, children believe that all their friends have two cars, a big house and food on the table every night, because they haven’t experienced anything else” and everyone laughed and moved on. But for me, I knew from the very beginning that my sister and I had a very different life from everyone else, but for a long time I didn’t know why. My name is Charmaine Littlejohn; I was born on May 21, 1996, healthy as I can be. I grew up in a single parent household with my sister and my mother since my father decided that he would like to take a more indirect parenting course throughout my life. I have been in Gaffney, South Carolina all my life
To her its all about staying alive and helping family no one else matters. To begin with, the setting is crazy at first because there was thunder, lightning and lots of rain in Springfield. After a while things start to be a little more normal until it was December that’s when they first started to get snow and it was freezing so everyone had to move together in the sunroom where it was a little bit more warmer so none of them had privacy. In addition, the main characters are Miranda, Matt, Jonny, and their mom. Two special traits they exhibit are that they all love eat other and are willing to do anything for one another.
Justin Webb October 21st 2012 Professor Olsen English 1113 Second Chance The story starts off on a bright blue skied sunny day in the pacific northwest, its Thanksgiving day and the plan was to go up to Grandma’s house which is approximately 35 minutes up the Washougal river road in Washougal Washington. In my car it was three of my best friends and I these aren’t just your ordinary friends they were my family. The friends I’ve grown up with, went on vacations with and was always with them 24/7. We load up the civie, my car, the classic 2004 red Honda civic that everyone seems to get for his or her first car. We set off on our adventure and as always we are blasting music being kids driving up the long windy scenic drive that the Washougal river road is.
In the fall of 2010 I left BRCC with a degree in Liberal Arts and certificate in general studies. I am in my third semester at Southern and I am enjoying every minute and I could not be more proud of this institution despite what’s been said or what’s going on. After I receive my bachelors’ degree in Psychology and get certified in Health & Physical Education & Adapted Physical Education, I plan on getting my masters in Supervision and Administration. I chose teacher education program at Southern because of the quality teachers that have came through the SUBR teacher education program. I currently work with children with disability in the Zachary Community School System and love every minute because you get an opportunity to reach out to children who never really had chance and to be able to give them a chance is very rewarding.
I have over 12.5 hours of community service and will be achieving my goal of 20 hours. I also had a very nice power point for my mid year presentation. From the comment slips I gathered a lot of useful information, which has helped me to plan the next steps of my eighth grade challenge. For my eighth grade challenge I have learned a lot about Unified Sports. I have gone to several Williston Unified Sports team meetings.
Changing the world for the better is always a great thing. Even if it’s just the daily pick up trash by the trash can. This semester I choose to stay at the same site as I did last time mostly because I love it and I love helping kids learn and play the game of soccer. Grassroots soccer is like a camp for kids below high school to further educate themselves about the tactics of soccer and to work on their playing skills. I did this community service over spring break going on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for four hours.
