(Cisco), which began on December 10, 1984, designs, manufactures, and sells Internet protocol or IP-based networking and other products related to the communications and Information Technology industry. It also provides services associated with these products and their use. Cisco provides products for transporting data, voice, and video from within buildings to around the world. Its products are designed to transform how people connect, communicate, and collaborate all around the world. Many of Cisco’s products are installed at enterprise businesses, public institutions, telecom companies and personal residences. Cisco operates in three market segments: * The Americas * Europe, Middle East, and Africa Region (EMEA) * Asia Pacific, Japan, and China Region (APJC) Cisco’s product offerings fall into three categories which are routing and switching; advanced technologies and other products. Besides its great product offerings, Cisco provides a range of other offerings such as service and technical support and advanced services. The advanced services program supports networking devices, applications, solutions, and the installation of complete infrastructures.
