Born March 10, 1940 in Ryan, Oklahoma as Carlos Ray Norris to parents Wilma and Ray Norris. Chuck Norris is of English and Choctaw ancestry. and was named after his family’s minister. Mr. Norris refers to his childhood as downbeat. He was nonathletic, shy, and just average scholastically. He was the oldest of 3 boys. Aaron Norris is now a producer in Hollywood, and Chuck’s youngest brother Wieland was killed in Vietnam.
