ALTANTUYA MURDER TRIAL
2004: Abdul Razak Baginda met Altantuya and had a relationship with her until August 2005. He used to give her money but stopped in early 2006. She came several times to Malaysia to hound him for money and hired Ang Chong Beng, a private investigator, to find out where he lived.
October 8: Altantuya went to Kuala Lumpur with two Mongolian women friends to meet Abdul Razak Baginda. (Their entry into Malaysia mysteriously vanished from official records.)  She tried to meet him several times at his office, but he refused to see her. Altantuya left him several notes demanding money, and allegedly also threatened his daughter, Rowena.
Early October: Abdul Razak Baginda hired private investigatorBalasubramaniam Perumal to keep Altantuya away from him and his family, and to follow his teenage daughter to her school. He also chaperoned Rowena home, before leaving for Abdul Razak's office to accompany the latter home. However, Altantuya kept harassing Abdul Razak who then asked a friend who was a senior police officer for advice. The friend introduced him to Chief Inspector Azilah Hadri.
October 17: Altantuya made a scene outside Abdul Razak Baginda's house. private investigatorBalasubramaniam Perumal called the police, who took her away to the Brickfields Police Station nearby. She tried to lodge a report against Abdul Razak but her private investigator, Ang Chong Beng, advised her against it and, instead, suggested to negotiate a settlement with Abdul Razak. It was then that Altantuya demanded US$500,000 and 3 air tickets to Mongolia, presumably for her and the 2 women with her.
October 19: When Altantuya went to Abdul Razak Baginda's house, the latter called Chief Inspector Azilah Hadri. Azilah and Corporal Sirul Azhar Umar arrived at Abdul Razak's house in a car, and bundled her to a forest clearing, where she was killed.
