Introduction Foundational to the Christian faith is the belief that mankind is created in the image of God. There is many ways that I will be discussing on how my Christian faith also linked up to my chosen vocation to be a Christian consoler, and how it applies to the belief that mankind is created in the image of God. I will then give you some examples of how the effects of my vocation really changes when I apply the knowledge of God. Example 1 There are many skeptics on what it means on how mankind is created in the image of God. But as for my life goes the image of God plays a major role in my chosen vocation to be a Christian Consoler. There are many reasons why I choose this career path but it was all inspired from God. My Christian walk has strengthened since I knew my view on the likeness of the image of God. One specific example is the love that the father showed to us when he created humanity. That love for us transcends in what I do, and my love to help others in counseling, this was one of the main reasons. Also Gods image entries that you are to show compassion to strangers. That is also a love characteristic which God gave me when he created mankind. Love is my main goal which was created when God breathed life into us. Example 2 The other reason on how the image of God has affected my view in the way my vocation is performed. Is the intellectual nature God instilled in us when humans where made in his image. God has created mankind giving us the ability to receive and process information that only a creator can. This holds key to my profession because we all know that getting a degree is process for any chosen profession. But in my line of work I will have to be able to study and process and receive information in Christian counseling. It is vital in my career path that I listen to and come up with a logical biblical solution to how to handle
