The author of the article I chose is Chris Widener who was born in 1963. Chris Widener is a popular American motivational speaker, author, and the owner of two very popular motivational websites online (Made for Success & Extraordinary Leaders). The article is about the motivation and the author divided the motivation into seven arenas. These arenas are Values, Responsibility, Possibility, Negotiation, Vision, Dedication, and Accomplishment. 1- I Am – The Arena of Values: Organizations and people have values but sometimes they don’t know what they are. Determining the values should be the first step for our own life and for a successful organization because the values are what we believe in. “Golden Rule”: We should treat others as we want to and except to be treated. c. We should be responsible to our families. Our parents, siblings, husbands, wives and children. Even at the worst situation, we should believe that they will be with us and we will be with them. d. Giving to charity for a cause that you believe in will be very beneficial at the end of our lives morally because we will be able to look back see the difference we have made. 3- I Could – The Arena of Possibility: We should dream for the highest possibilities. People have great ideas and dreams. They just need to know where to stop and ask themselves the questions, surrounded by an atmosphere of acceptance. 4- I Would – The Arena of Negotiation: Every possibility has a cost associated with it. Negotiation is an art because the negotiators are likely to respond to each person’s situation differently. To have this ability, we should ask some questions like; what will the cost be?
