Chocolate Contribution in Human Life Indonesia as an agricultural country has many plant species. It started from grass, flowers, fruits, and trees. Of kind of fruit grown in Indonesia is chocolate. It is small and has seeds that later will be processed to become chocolate powder. By doing the advanced process, this powder becomes chocolate bar. This bar also divided into 2 kinds; dark and white chocolate. The white one is chocolate mixed with milk, while the dark is purely made from chocolate powder. It is healthy to human body, but many people do not know it. For several years, they still thought that consuming chocolate is useless and it brings several diseases also endangers human health. It is false; dark chocolate is healthy. Several benefits can be got by consuming dark chocolate. The first is chocolate can lowers the blood pressure. Flavonoids hormones produced by chocolate is very useful in lowering the intensity of blood pressure (Chocolate Manufactures Association: Journal of American Medical Association; http://Ezine Articles.com/?expert=Smit_Chacha). This data shows that public assumption that grown several years ago until now about chocolate can make become more seriously than before is false. Chocolate has the function in the opposite way. It is not functioned as poison to people who suffer this illness but functioned as their medicine. The second benefit of chocolate is chocolate can lower cholesterol. It is hard to be accepted by people, but it is true. The mindset of the society stated that chocolate consists of much fat that are dangerous for people in cholesterol. It is nonsense. Many medical experts stated that dark chocolate produces Oleic Acid, Steraric Acid, and HDL (the good cholesterol).
