The consumer price index was fairly steady between January of 2010 and January of 2011. However, since January of 2011 consumer price index has steadily risen. It seemed to peak and slightly fall around May of 2011 but has started to rise again by July of 2011. Tables from the Bureau of Labor Statistics website show that the largest increases have been in the food, beverage, and transportation categories.

Buddhism originated in India, but after the fall of the Han Dynasty in 220 C.E., it gained many converts in China. The people responded rather positively to the spread of Buddhism in China, because after their kingdom fell into turmoil, it was also torn apart by power hungry warlords. They responded this way, because not only did China have to deal with nomadic invaders from the north, but they also had feudal warlords fighting over the land. Because of this, people needed something to have faith in, so they turned and found it in Buddhism. People also tried to turn away from all the sorrow, so they accepted this new foreign religion coming in, regardless of the political situation in China at the time.
The Mongols had foreign administrators in China because they did not trust any Chinese person to be left in charge therefore foreign people were used. While in the Middle East the Mongols felt that leaving the Persians to have some charge would be the best for the people and result in benefits. Along with similar and different political effects of Mongol rule, there were similar and different economic effects of Mongol rule on China and the Middle East. From 2005 to 2010 our total U.s. sales increased by 12.9%, while the home improvement market defined by the north american industrial Classification system (naiCs) 444 declined 10.4%, indicating that we increased our market share during this period of contraction. During that time, we continued to focus on the strengths that have differentiated us as a home improvement retailer: great service, operational excellence and innovative merchandising.
