Air pollution is chemicals, particulate matter and biological materials that are emitted into the atmosphere by industrial plants. That can cause harm or discomfort to humans and other living organisms. Why is it an issue in china? China, the world’s fasts growing economy and also the largest manufacturer has the highest annual incidence of premature deaths triggered air pollution. The smog-filled cites of china ringed with heavy industries, metal smelters and coal-fired power plants, all critical to keeping the fast-growing economy going even as they spew tons of chemicals, gases and soot into the atmosphere. Contributing as the number one source of air pollution in china is coal. China generates electricity by burning 6 million tons of coal every day, to heat homes and cook meals. Expanding car ownership, heavy traffic and low-grade gasoline have made cars also one of the leading contributors to the air pollution problem in Chinese cities. However China is not the only country air pollution, this is a problem in nearly every country in the world. Where is the issue? The majority of china is seemed to be the issue, because it is wrapped in a toxic gray shroud. Therefore apparently only 1 percent of the country’s 560 million city dwellers breathe air considered safe. But even though the problem emerged from china, China’s problem has now become the world’s problem. Sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides spewed by China’s coal-fired power plants fall as acid rain on Seoul, South Korea, and Tokyo. Much of the particulate pollution over Los Angeles originates in China. How and Why?
