Growing up can be scary. Children live simple lives and their problems can be easily solved. As people mature and goes with their lives, they may experience unpredictable changes. Changes which cannot be solved as easily as before. Some may find it too difficult to face, and decide to never to grow up, in order to remain a child forever.
At the end his story, he uses the hot-air balloon to emphasize his success of smoking; it releases him from mental disorders. It shows that he cures his disease by himself. Sedaris understands smoking’s health risk, but this is the most useful choice to help him be normal because he lacks of supports of others.
Explain why or why not. I think there are many reasons a person will laugh at a joke that will put down other people. One such reason is immaturity. Having worked with teenagers I think that this is their favorite way to joke around. I think it makes them feel better about themselves.
Ralph, Jack, and Simon landed on an island to explore; where there were no parents, rules nor objections that could blocked their ways. At first, the boys enjoyed their life without grown-ups and spent much of their time splashing in the water and playing games. At that moment, their lives were greatly happy. Some symbols Piggy’s glasses have is the conch, the conch is used for order and necessity. It keeps the boys from going crazy. It is also used for peace. It gave the boys peace because they just put glasses on wood and light so it could start the fire. They didn’t need Piggy so that gave the boys peace.
This rectangular equipment didn't really seem like a toy but it did entertain the child. Ricardo ran his left index finger across the edge. After a minute he returned to where his cylinder toy was and began banging it against that surface. One of the adults acted surprised as if she had caught him doing something het wasn't supposed to and Ricardo let out a loud laughter. At this point, the adults where smiling and engaging with the children.
