Cameron held the book up so the children could see the colored pictures, and he did well with the different voices of the little girl and the dragon. The children were around 2 to 5 years old. There was a 2-year-old boy who would point to the dragon and growl, the other children sat and listened until the story ended. The children all left with smiles and balloons. The second storytime presentation I attended was at the Taft Branch Library.
Communication begins to take on a more mature rhythm at 11 months. Babies at this age can engage in a regular back-and-forth conversation. The elder children in our daycare started their morning circle time around 9:30am while Lukas just finished his first formula bottle and he was crawling around the room and exploring new toys. Lukas was very happy and active in the playroom. He can sit up without support and pull himself up around the train table.

It was one great hall divided by five feet blackboards on wheels that would squeak at the slightest touch. The long, three feet high, wooden, hollowed out desks needed sanding down to smooth out the rough surface, and it could hold up to three students. We sat in alphabetical order - I sat in the middle of the room - and no one dares ask to be relocated because it was not permitted. The teacher started by calling roll, and after naming thirty-three children, she set the agenda for the day. First, we would focus on Agriculture, then Arithmetic, followed by our first recess, and when we got back from recess, she promised us a field trip.

According to the Canadian BC curriculum for grade eight, students should know how to calculate the surface area of a prism; This is hard for us to believe because this is what we studied in grade three or even earlier. At the same age, we are working day and night in order to solve the functional relationships between two moving points on a complex graph. Again, most of students in the USA are at school at 8:00, and go home at 15:00. However, most of students in China are at school at 7:00, and go home at 18:00(at least). And I want to tell a truth about me, and maybe lots of students are like me.
Doodling in Math: Spirals, Fibonacci, and Being a Plant [1 of 3] Say you're me and you're in math class and your teacher's talking about-- Well, who knows what your teacher's talking about. Probably a good time to start doodling and you're feeling spirally today, so, yeah. Oh, and because of over-cutting in your school your math class is taking place in Greenhouse #3: Plants! Anyway, you've decided there are three basic types of spirals. There's a kind where as you spiral out, you keep the same distance, or you could start big and make it tighter and tighter as you go around, in which case the spiral ends, or, you could start tight but make it bigger as you go out.
4TH GRADE CLASS OBSERVATION I went to observe a 4th Grade class at Hedencamp Elementary. When I got there they just came from lunch recess. Most of the students seemed to be very active when they got into the classroom. The room was filled with commotion. One boy named Marco who fits to be an extrovert person was singing, “Baby” from Justin Beiber and another student named Alexa who looked like an outgoing person was dancing to the rhythm of the song; 2 girls named Cassey and Chloe who looked sensitive were annoyed with the song and asked Marco to stop but he kept on singing.
