Another benefit of being smart is that I have a chance to go to a better college or university. As a result if I get into a better college, I can get a better job. Furthermore I can get a better carrier because some colleges are specialized in the carrier I want. Also if I were more intelligent I would pass my classes in college with high scores. Those are the results of being more intelligent than being more popular more popular.
It is important to keep a balance of the important things in one’s life otherwise, weaknesses can be developed that shadows over a person’s natural strength to prioritize. A balance of the important things in one’s life is what allows personal success to be achieved. Successfulness is the ability to seize new opportunities and explore new paths in life. Balance is the key to success because when there is balance in one’s life there is a cut back of stress, which makes room for the ability to thrive; and a person’s ability to thrive is what carries them to their personal success. To be successful is to understand what is important to you, to recognize your weaknesses without hiding behind them, to strive for balance as well as open new doors in life.
The amount of discipline, dedication and training that athletes must subject themselves to is just as, if not more, demanding as getting good grades or scoring high on the SAT. The amount of effort and commitment athletes put into their sport should not be overlooked and should not be deemed less worthy than students who perform well academically. Athletic achievements are just as notable as intellectual achievements. It is when colleges begin to give outrageous benefits, bordering on bribery, that the fine line between what is ethical and what is not is crossed. Specifically when it comes to college graduation rates, race is still the strongest inherent indicator of success. That is, other factors affect the chances of graduating from college more drastically from one race to another race.
