As a manager, I can see myself inspiring my subordinates to think, grow and take responsibility for them. I do this by demonstrating belief in what my staff members can accomplish. I believe that I can help people to improve, and I enjoy managing and supporting their efforts. Moreover, observing the best in people is important to me. In fact, my ability to combine an acceptance of others as they are with the inspiration and encouragement they need to become even better is what makes me a valuable mentor, manager, co-worker, and friend.
It is important to be able to penetrate any barriers that the employee may have as a defense mechanism. A good manager of people realizes that once you have found an entry point into their employees heart; it is likely that the manager will be successful in motivating the employee. Because people have different personalities not all things goes as planned when you are attempting to motivate your employees. The program gives you challenges and opportunities to become a better citizen. The instructors are not like teachers, they put in an effort for you to actually try and build up. You do leadership tasks; you help younger teens, participate in things that other teens don't get to participate in. The class isn't boring, you’re always learning about new things, we do weekly current events, and uniform wear. Wearing uniform teaches us responsibility; we have to make sure that our uniform is in order, and has everything on correctly.
I think what makes a good student is a hard worker that is going towards success and not following but leading. Another thing that makes a good student is someone who has good behavior, works on their school work, participates and puts forth effort. Another example of what makes a good student is somebody who takes a risk at class work they don’t know. That’s what really makes a good student because if they try hard and practice they will become a success. Those are the things I think make a good student.
This excellent service can be done by those that care about our world and the people that inhabit it. Service can be serving others in some helpful way. The main idea of service is that the individual isn’t the most important and other people could use help and good advice. Being a good leader means that the leader knows how to serve the people he is working for. Leadership is another trait that can’t be easily developed, but only with thorough diligence and dedication.
Training and reflection will have positive effects for both the service user and the service provider. Reflective practice helps staff analyse complicated situations and help them make the best resolution. Analysing situations allow staff members to choose the best option that will benefit service users the most, allowing the care of them to be superior. Reflective practice also helps improve staff members’ problem solving skills. This means that the care of the service users will be improved since the staff are able to solve problems quickly and effectively.
They were able to teach me study skills, and specially how to still in my seat. We worked very hard at maintaining my concentration, and when I failed, they would redirect my attention back to whatever task I was doing. I started trusting my teacher in their performance and patience. The positive experience, I received from my sixth grade teachers had an effect on my negative thoughts from my elementary experiences. By the time I finished the sixth grade I was ready for the seventh and eighth grade, Jr. High School.
It helps me figure out what I need to do to become a better player, but also a better person. It tests my ability to work hard through adversity, take constructive criticism, and challenge myself to push harder and to strive for greatness. I take tremendous pride in my work ethic, and it shows when I’m on the field. I stay focused from start to finish, learn from my mistakes quickly, and I accept my responsibilities that are handed down to me from coaches and my team. Pat Riley once said, “Excellence is the gradual result of always striving to do better.” This is how I treat everyday.
Do you think it is a good or bad idea to reflect on your own practices? Explain your answer. I believe that reflecting on what I am doing is a great idea, this is the best way for me to gauge if my coaching strategies are working or not. 12. How effectively would you rate your coach?
