Changing Our Lives Now day’s education is a vital our part of lives, it’s hard to build a future without a high school degree and a college degree. Therefore, a candidate who graduates from high school or college, may be more prepared than others. They will be more likely to get a promising job. Walking down the aisle of our old high school. My sister and me on our graduation day. Wow! We finally did it. First time on my mom’s side to finish school. My mother didn’t have the freedoms I do when I was her age. She never had the money to go to school. She had to work, instead of going to school. Money was always an problem. I am 38 years old now, and having only one child in school full-time, a stay-at-home mom with nothing to do. A new start for a new beginning. I have decided to go to college at this time of my life for many reasons. For example, to get a higher education, increase my knowledge, and to develop new skills. My main reason deciding to go to college is trying to find a job that pays great. My recent jobs were underpay, working hard, doing the job right, but get a not so great paycheck. A paycheck that pays for all your bills, but left with nothing to show for at the end. I feel going back to college as an adult can be scary but very meaningful experience at the same time. Although I have been out of school for many years, I am very motivated in completing my degree. The reason behind my decision to going back to school is a life changing and enhancing my education in Accounting and to better myself to become a successful business woman in the future and a good writer as part of my
