Its main elements consist of the following: half-day pre-kindergarten instruction, full day kindergarten instruction, eight week reading assessments, one-on-one reading tutors, a family support team, a program facilitator, a commitment to teamwork, and special education concerns. Course work covers how to develop effective communication skills, both oral and written, the effects of nonverbal skills and how to refine your listening and hearing skills. I think that Scenario 2 might work best with my students. The first thing I noticed was that the homework policy was announced and explained to the class, at the beginning of the year. Also, handouts went home to parents explaining the policy.
VARK is a magnificent tool online that simply helps identify the different types of learning styles that are out there and helps guide individuals in the right path as far as learning goes. VARK stands for Visual, Aural, Read/write, and last but not least Kinesthetic. Visual, Aural, and Read/write mean exactly what they say. These individuals learn best by doing just that. Visual learners need to see things in order to learn, aural learners are better when they hear the information, and reading/writing learners perform best reading information and writing it down.
2.1 Developing and promoting positive, respectful working relationships with adults is important as it helps to maintain a positive learning environment that benefits children, parents and staff. In order to establish respectful, professional relationships with adults it is important to have good interpersonal skills, such as active listening, availability, appropriate use of non verbal skills and following the rules of turn taking. It is also important to be polite and to use appropriate vocabulary, being sympathetic and speaking slowly to communicate. Valuing the views and opinions of others is also important as it encourages co-operation, shows respect and leads to a more productive working environment. 2.2 Positive working relationships will reflect the school’s aims but will also help children to learn how to treat others.
The focuses mentioned in this essay relates to personal work experiences; identifying specific goals of instructions. The key concept follows the standard, "What Ideas to target?" The concept I will be following is an understanding of English I. The generalization follows, using concepts that I ask myself, "What knowledge gained will the students have at the end of a lesson, in spite of his or her placement in the tiers?" The students’ benefits, he or she will know the English I, characterizations parts of the language.
