For many years now people have campaigned against the act of smoking cigarettes. But the threat to health does not seem to persuade smokers from quitting. Smoker are over looking all the information that is offered. The purpose of this essay is to talk about three effects of smoking, besides the most mentioned possibility of getting cancer or even dying, which are the stained teeth, the cost of the habit, and the smell. The first effect of smoking is one I feel most smokers over looking or really don’t seen to notice. Smoking can leave stains over a period of time. Smokers teeth can be stained to yellow and even brown. This effect is a long term effect. To remove the stains of cigarette smoke is very hard and can be costly. The second effect of smoking is how it smells. Cigarette smoke can affect the small of ones hair, breath, clothes, house, and car. The smell of smoke can penetrate numerous things and it it can be very difficult to remove. Even if the smoker should decide to stop smoking the smell can still remain for a long time. The third effect of smoking is the cost. Depending on where the smoker lives depends on how much the smokers personal economy will be affected. Also how many packs a day the smoker smokes. Not to mention the cost of cleaning the stains off of the smokers teeth and the removal of the smell from houses, cars, and many other things the smell penetrates. Smoking is a very dangerous habit. People have been in formated of that for many years. I feel people over look the other effects that come with smoking. Like I have put in this essay it can effect people appearance, cost them a lot of money in the long term, and can affect the smell of things around
