The rough consistency of chew is disposed to scratching the tooth enamel ("Smokeless"). Then there's the most known "side-effect" oral cancer.
It can affect your health because drinking too much alcohol can give you liver disease and can kill you if you drink too much of the wrong stuff. Also alcohol is full of calories so going out drinking every night will pile on the calories and can give you a so called beer belly which would not be good if you were an athlete as this would not look good in front of the coaches. Smoking: Smoking all the time can affect your lifestyle as smoking is very costly and if you get addicted then that means you will be constantly wasting money every week on cigarettes to try and feed your addiction. It can effect your health by that it can give you cancer if you are a constant smoker. The tar can get inside the lungs which can give you liver and lung disease and really effect your health badly.
Drugs have been out of control in the past few years, and the numbers have just continued to grow. One of the main drugs being abused is Methamphetamine. In today’s society Methamphetamine has sky rocketed to abusers too people cooking this drug in their own homes the numbers are outrageous. Methamphetamine is a horror drug once you use it your addicted. Meth addiction harms the body in a horrific way, the drug is made up of chemicals that can kill a person also leading to the addiction, and in order to get over the drug it’s a continuous battle the person must want it for themself, and have the strength over their own mind they can’t be weak or they will fail and relapse.

To a frequent user, smoking pot leads to judgment, logical thinking, and memory impairment. Smoking marijuana is proven to have many negative psychological and personality effects on those who choose to smoke it. One many argue that marijuana has a positive attributes to the medical field; this may be true. What about the long term effects of the addiction?
There are some obvious symptoms if you smoke, also some might have emphysema for many years without noticing any of the signs or symptoms. The main symptom for emphysema is if you have shortness of breath and you do smoke that begins gradually. You should get help or see your doctor if your shortness of breath is so bad that it makes it hard for you to talk. Also, if your lips or fingernails are turning blue or gray. Cocaine is abused a lot these days and it can go very out of hand. It can be used for medical purposes such as eye and ear surgeries. Cocaine will affect you almost immediately after use. It can shorten the need for food and sleep and that can become very dangerous for your health. Cocaine can become dangerously addictive if taken in big amounts.
Some might quit. With the recent tax increase over 140,000 smokers will quit smoking (2008, Newport Television). However, others will rely on buying bootleg cigarettes or black market cigarettes. Some believe that there is no problem with buying cigarettes illegally (cigarettes that are not taxed). What the government does not realize is that smokers who have had the habit for numerous amounts of years will not quit smoking.

All of the preventable risks factors listed are irritants that damage the lungs over a period of years.
Hypnosis and Smoking Cessation The act of smoking cigarette is not only a key preventable risk factor of diseases, but a significant cause of undue mortality. Smoking is associated with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, vascular disease, cancer and death of smokers. The world famous blogger and novelist Michael Siegel a professor in the Department of Community Health has come out with another debatable topic that has anti-smoker advocates in an uproar. Michael is trying to promote that electronic cigarettes can help smokers give up smoking or at least reduce the edge to smoke. On the other hand the anti-smoker advocates highly disagree with Michael saying that “electronic cigarettes don’t help smokers quit but merely prolong their addiction to nicotine”. They also argue that smokers who stop using electronic cigarettes will automatically stop having the edge to smoke all together. Michael retaliated mocking their proposal stating that “This is a ridiculous argument and those advancing it are not living in reality”.
