1. Are the risks for this particular event unusual? The risks for this particular event are not unusual. Regia Anglorum is one of the large numbers of the popular history or battle recreation and hobby societies which exist throughout Europe dealing with living history and costumed history and costumed historical re-enactment and entertainment ranging from Viking Societies in Scandinavia to Guard’s Parade Societies in Germany. It deals with living history and costumed historical re-enactment. In addition, Regia Anglorum covers the predominantly Saxon period in England. The event been conducted is not only a new tendency but it has been be familiar with the local society. It undertakes historic recreation shows and pageants of all kinds including battles, living history exhibitions, ship burning ceremonies, torchlight parades and so on for purpose of public entertainment. Lastly, a wide-ranging insurance agreement has covered assorted aspects for the event itself. 2. If you were the organizer of a public carnival or street festival, what might the most risky activities be, and would these be considered high, medium or low risk? This event is considered as “medium risk” event, it is an outdoor event involving large number of people which rather outside their range of experiences. It has significant number of attendees, management and staffs have experienced in similar circumstances, but the activity will be more complicated than normal. The key risk of this event is crowd control of participants, environmental pollution, equipment risk, falling from height and security. This event is conducted at outdoor, the crowd control depending on the numbers of participants and the venue. The activity may held in locations where the public may not visits regularly.
