Taking into account the opinions of others and listeneing properly to their input will encourage a healthy team and also give the person involved control of whos and what input they would like in their support. Features of effective team performance, are having the team interacting and empowering each other through discussion and suggestion, this enables the team through meetings and every day events to put ideas forward and develop them to see what works and what does not, as some people believe that they way they do things is the only way which is not the case. There are several challenges’ that can form between developing and established teams, as everyone has their strengths but with that comes some allowable weakness. When these are identified it is my job to nurture strengths and set goals to overcome any weaknesses I do this through observation, meetings, supervision and appraisals. Also through ongoing course work to keep up to date with legislation and any changes to legislation to comply with CQC 3.
Employee Motivation Theory Often times companies that struggle with the relationship between the employees and the goals of the organization; sometimes the moral of its employee is thread that sets the relationship apart. Managers have made several failed attempts to establish that relationship with the employee to knit them together with the goals of the organization. Therefore, the company level of accomplishments is diminished. A good manager has learned good people skills, and often times he/she is able to motivate their employees to increase their output. It is important to be able to penetrate any barriers that the employee may have as a defense mechanism.
Humanistic-Encouraging people are accepting of themselves, and accept others for who they are without question or criticism. In fact, those scoring higher on this scale have unconditional positive regard for others. This absolute acceptance enables people to grow the most and take greater responsibility for themselves. I agree with this result and believe that I can assist others in fulfilling their potential by providing a supportive climate that inspires self-improvement. As a manager, I can see myself inspiring my subordinates to think, grow and take responsibility for them.
This is usually well received by people I interact with, in a team setting. In my team assignments for this course for example, I believe I am doing very well as a leader, as everything is running like clockwork for my team. I have set routines

Drucker says an effective leader with “good human relations” is more than just having a “talent for people,” but rather is more a focus on the contribution on one’s own work and in one’s relationships with others (2006). Coach Dale focused a great deal of energy on his coaching strategies, but also his relationships with his team players and external supporters such as Shooter. Therefore, according to Drucker’s definition of “good human relations,” Coach Dale embodies another critical aspect of leadership. Collins also states that “good-to-great” organizations choose the “who” first and then focus on the “what” secondary (2001).
Trust is developed by clearly defining roles, expectations, and goals. This develops a familiarity between the different team members, which helps to produce a shared vision and reliance on each other and improves the team’s effectiveness (Bethea, Holland, & Reddick 2014). A highly effective team uses its shared vision and defined goals to foster a sense of group harmony. This allows for problems to be solved and goals to be achieved. With each problem solved or goal achieved, excitement grows within the team and a sense of accomplishment is felt once the process is completed (Bethea, Holland, & Reddick 2014).
