Career Reflection Report: Assignment Guidelines Your career reflection report is to consist of 5 sections: Introduction, Interest, Personality, Skills, and Values. The core of the assignment is a reflection of how these 4 aspects of your person relates to 1 career of your choice. This 1 career can be anything but ideally is a career you really want to pursue. Please remember to state the chosen career in the title of the assignment (i.e. Personal Career Reflection Report: HR Executive). To do the assignment well, you will need some knowledge about the career chosen. Marks will be given for insight especially if a lot of personal reflection was done, hence the name of the report. Each section should be approximately 2 pages long but feel free to exceed it (10-page limit for the entire assignment). Marks will be deducted for improper APA formatting. Things to consider when writing the 5 sections. Introduction * Use the various websites provided in Lesson 4. * State the chosen career. * What is the nature of work? * Job description? * What are some education, certification, work experience requirements? Interest * Use results from the RIASEC test in Lesson 2. * What is your RIASEC code? * What aspects of that chosen career interest you? * Does your RIASEC code correspond with the RIASEC code of the chosen career? * What areas do you need to develop interest in to ensure a better fit with the career? Personality * Use results from the Leonard’s Personality Inventory short test in Lesson 3. * What is your Leonard Personality Inventory “Bird” type? * What areas of your Personality fit the job? * What aspects clash or are not suitable? * What aspect of the job do you need to adapt to, due to this clash?
