Year-Round Schooling Summer break is great. We all think so. But when you walk into Algebra 1 your first day back at school and the teacher says, “Pop quiz! Lets see what you know!” And that’s the moment when you realize that you don’t remember anything from the previous year. Year-round schooling is a better system than traditional because it’s better for students learning, it keeps kids involved and engaged, and, as much as this might surprise you, it doesn’t mean less vacation time.

The sleek design make it easy to handle, and the options of parental controls make it ideal for educational and recreational use. The option to customize specific unwanted websites and age appropriate apps makes it not only very desirable but leaves the competitors something to be desired. Apple has made their product so user friendly that children have and use their product on a daily basis (Smith, 2012). In addition, apple has a variety of educational apps that many schools have now adopted for their curriculum. Not only is this beneficial to the public, private, and charter school system, but for the homeschooling children as well as children with learning disabilities.

Comparing children that has been redshirted to children who is in a classroom constructed environment. An operational test is Early Literacy test which is valid and operational. “According to NCES, boys are more often redshirted than girls, and children born in the latter half of the year are more likely to be redshirted than those born earlier” (Katz, 2000. p. 2). To see if this is true, BMI, appetite, changes with metabolism and more will be addressed. Sleeping less than the normal can have some effect on BMI and a person’s emotional state. When people with less than 7 hours were compared to people with more than 7 hours of sleep, it was found that people with less than 5 hours had a small BMI increase averaging 1.1 kg m^-2 (Horne). Although this doesn’t seem like a drastic change, it can add up over the years. Sleep has been found to be more important in children than adults.
Nearly eighty-nine percent of these births occurred outside of marriage. Studies show that charter school students make greater academic progress than students in traditional public schools. Sixty-four (64) percent of California's charter schools met student achievement targets on state tests in the 2008-09 school year compared to just 58% of non-charter schools. (CCSA site). Another idea that charter school offer is they have learning centers that provide additional resources for children that might be behind in a subject by having before and after school tutoring with the teacher or and aid that specializes in that subject, teachers are able to give test in small groups with children that are at the same level and work with them to help them

Recent research (Ward, 2006 ) demonstrates that separating students into small size classes by their different levels is better for literacy instruction in elementary schools. Truly, in that case, teachers can design customized lessons to meet the needs and interests of class members. In addition, detailed feedback can also be immediately imparted to better control the gap between each student. However, the overall effect of small classes is not as evident as we imagine. According to statistics launched by NAEP examination, the reading score of students from different grades stayed at a stable level from 1971 to 1996, though the class sizes experienced a downward trend in the shared period.
