Jacob Garcia November 28, 2011 MTA 264 writing assignment Minor White Minor White is a photographer that has influenced my work a great deal. His use of line, shape, light is something that I am interested in. The way he uses these different aspects of his subject has made me look at photography in a different light as well as my own use of these techniques in my own work. Even though I recognize I am just starting out and need more experience in several areas, I especially would like more knowledge with the zone system. Throughout this paper I will examine Minor White and his influence on the field of photography as I find White especially interesting.
The formulas the instructor gave and her mode of teaching were truly amazing. It was as refreshments that would help me towards my future career. Obviously, in English as a “Second Language” class, I helped students with reading, and they seemed to be happy and liked me for being one of their tutors. Truly, I enjoyed tutoring, and I will make sure I keep this new experience going, and wish other people to benefit immensely from me. I helped the Literacy Council of Fort Bend County mostly in their work.
It is important to document all the progress that has been made for future references. This is important since it was old documents that helped me with my paper and hopefully my paper could be helpful to anyone in the future. During the process of writing this paper it helped me to learn more about my community. Talking to tribal members and employes helped out a lot too, they were very knowledgeable and helpful. Every person that I had talked to was very glad to see a young member of their community taking their time out to learn the
He offered a lot of help and was willing to make notes on my paper to attempt at helping me make my paper the best it could possibly be. I really appreciate his time and effort and definitely took in to account some of the great and helpful feedback he gave me. Another person I would also like to shortly thank is Professor Miller. She took the time out of her busy schedule to sit down and have a conference with me and go over any questions. It made it easier to figure out exactly what she was looking for in my paper.

I got a tattoo. The satisfaction I get from it now feels wonderful. It is so amazing to know that I finally have the tattoo I wanted. My mom says that I should be proud because there are many people who are too scared or cannot handle the pain of getting a tattoo. I will have to say that I am proud of myself and am really happy with the way my tattoo turned out.
As I have worked on different projects in my communications courses, and studied different types of films, I have come to realize how important and useful a general knowledge of history is. The more I have learned in my history courses, the more informed my other work is. A general knowledge of history is essential in understanding current events and the current world situation. My goal as a photojournalist would be to collect information by taking photographs that tell a newsworthy story. This job would provide good opportunities to travel and experience other cultures.
I believe that writing has helped me in numerous ways, and I would recommend it to anyone who needs to release some stress. It is crazy to think that a simple assignment from seventh grade still influences me today. Though Mrs. Ford may not know it, she truly motivated me to keep writing. If it wasn’t for her I would have never been able to express my emotions in such the creative way I do now. I hope that after reading this, I too have motivated you to pick up and pen and paper and
I’ve had to fight tremendous obstacles to achieve my dreams, goals and desires. Ever since I was a little girl I have wanted to become a great writer, not to be famous or wealthy, but to give encouragement to everyone who reads my work. I am driven to tell my stories with absolute enthusiasm. I love talking to others about my life’s struggles and tragedies that I have overcome. I feel that if I
