The Campus Wedding (Scenario A & B) Christian Granda Research paper for BUSN 6110 Operations and Project Management Abstract – The Campus Wedding Most weddings take a year or more to plan, to make sure that this perfect day is executed without any issues. The Campus Wedding case study takes planning a wedding to a whole new level. On 31 March Mary Jackson and Larry Adams decided that they would like to have their wedding in the next 3 weeks (22 Apr) on the college campus because of the fact that the cherry blossoms are in full bloom during this specific day. This case study will look at the issues and problems that arise from planning a wedding in just 21 days, as well as look at all the different activities, and identify and use the critical path method to identify each activity, in order to be able to reduce the time it will take to execute the wedding, and be able to condense this wedding from a normal planning time of one year to 3 weeks without any issues arising on the day of the wedding. Planning a wedding can be a very stressful event; there is so much to do from reserving a church, to ordering invitations, to decorating the receptions hall. There is a tremendous amount of planning that goes into a wedding, it is very detailed oriented and time consuming, and therefore requires a year or more to plan, this is not the case with the campus wedding. On 31 Mar, Mary Jackson, and Larry Adams her college boyfriend announced that they were getting married at their college campus, the family was excited to hear the news, but what came next shocked the family even more. They announce that they would like the wedding date to be on 22 Apr, which only gives the family to plan and execute the wedding in 21 days, the reason behind the quick wedding date is that on the college campus there are cherry blossoms that bloom around that time, and on
