That same thing happened to me when I first got up here and went camping at Greenleaf State Park, Which is located 24.2 miles from Muskogee, Oklahoma. Before I went there I went to Wal-Mart to buy some new chairs and a bigger tent, which was a week before I went camping. Once I got there I kept saying that the park is so beautiful that I wanted to live there. Greenleaf has all sorts of neat little things there.

A Walk in the Woods: A Walk in the Woods is a nonfiction novel describing a journey that a man named Bill Bryson took to escape from his busy life that most people lead, and emerge himself into the great outdoors for a trip on the Appalachian Trail. He decided to invite his old friend Stephen Katz to hike with him starting in Georgia in March. They bought a lot of equipment from a tent to big backpacking bags that fit a large amount of gear. They were ready to start their adventure but little did they know what type of situations they were getting themselves into. Bryson and Katz’s trip had a very rough start because they weren’t used to the extremely heavy packs and very long distances.
Mann Gulch Fire On August 5th, 1949 what was thought to be a routine day in the lives of 16 smokejumpers, will be remembered within the U.S. Forest service as well as firefighting history. The Mann Gulch fire occurred in Montana’s Helena National Forest, and prior to this incident, no smokejumper had ever died fighting a wildland fire. The fire, which was caused by lightning strike, was originally spotted at 12:25 pm. Due to the remote location and lack of roads; smokejumpers were dispatched to the incident. Lastly, Lennie’s death was more abrupt than the novel because it was a quick move by George, pulling the gun out and pulling the trigger instantly.
