Project Characteristics Week One James Armstrong CMGT/410 March 11, 2013 Gregory Binder A project is generally a temporary task that requires exhaustive undertaking within a time limit. They are usually a one-time endeavor used to create a strategy designed to help complete a task more efficiently. Projects have a very specific goal and structure for how that goal is to be fulfilled. How a project is differentiated from other functions carried out in the daily operations of an organization is expressed through specific features. Normal “ongoing work” is always going to be constant and usually recurring throughout every day of a business’ life.
