General Standards of Conduct: The Cheesecake Factory encourages a relationship of trust, loyalty, honesty, and responsibility among all members of the staff at all levels of employment within the company. All staff members should be treated with dignity and respect. 2. Compliance with Laws: At the Cheesecake factory we expect staff members to comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations, rules and regulatory orders at all times. Neither a supervisor nor any other staff member has the authority to direct another staff member to break any law or to conduct him/herself in a manner that is counter to the Code of Ethics. We take very seriously and will not tolerate any form of harassment, including sexual harassment or other discriminatory behavior. We also have no tolerance for drug or alcohol abuse among our staff members in the workplace. Compliance with these policies is essential to our corporate philosophy. Accordingly, all staff members must understand and abide by our policies relating to sexual harassment, drug and alcohol abuse, diversity and nondiscrimination. 3. Protection of the Company’s Confidential Information: Non-Disclosure: All information, whether or not marked as “confidential,” about our business, is property of the Company, and must not be used or disclosed by staff members except in the discharge of their normal job responsibilities or when applicable law compels disclosure.
