Bus Radio Theft Arin Lawson June 15, 2015 SEC/430 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Introduction * The bus yard in Kelsey has being dealing with theft for the past two years. Overnight someone is taking their new radios that have just been installed into the buses. The theft happens one to four weeks after installation. If I don’t solve this investigation the bus yard will keep spending more money. * Evidence * There are five buses that I need look over and see if any evidence was left behind. On bus ten there was no evidence left at all. On bus nineteen the evidence that was found didn’t relate to the theft. Also in bus eight-six the bus had and item that didn’t belong to the theft. On bus twenty-three there was four pieces of evidence and it did have to do with the theft. The first piece of evidence was the handrail fingerprint. To collect this evidence I would document, label and date, photograph, and lift print. The second piece of evidence is footprint. To collect the evidence I would, document, label and date, photograph, and lift print. The third piece of evidence is stolen radio area. To collect this evidence I would just document it and take a photograph. The last piece of evidence in bus twenty-three is steering wheel finger print. I would collect the evidence by document, label and date, photograph, and lift print. Bus thirty-four has the same items as twenty-three except you would subtract stolen radio and add soda can. I would collect the soda can evidence by document, label and date, photograph, and bag it. * Interviews * I would have to interview five different people that might know
