Successful project managers plan their daily work using documents that details the project definition. Planning is the first main aspect in pro the project success. Starting the project with detail definition always leads to success. Time spent in effectively planning for the project would significantly reduced the duration and cost of the project (Kloppenborg, Shriberg, & Venkatraman, 2003). Also, quality job during the project will be enhanced in great outputs. Project definition is often the deliverable of planning and elaborated on all project aspects. 
 As soon the stakeholders approve the project definition it becomes the basis of the project work for the lifetime of the project. Next, the project manager engage in creating a planning trail for the project.. The work plan would drop a list of instructions for the project deliverables and project management. If a prior similar project exists, the project manager should use the same work plan and learn from the past failures situations and from prior success situations. The work plan should have all vital details. The work plan should include information of resource allocation and assignment, and work and cost estimation (SAP). This is the planning horizon.
