We all at some point been the target of bullying, an older kid in elementary school, making fun of the color or the style of your hair or maybe some took your lunch money. However what was once consider as a simply rite of passage in into adulthood is a something that can cause psychological damage in a person’s development. The reason why human service professionals should look into bullying as far is in concerns with mental development that children who are bully and are continuing bullied is that they are at risk for a wide range of poor social, health and economic outcomes nearly four decades after the initial exposure. The Three Components and Types of Bullying Behavior Armed with this knowledge researches have begun to look into all of the various types of bullying, these types are physical, verbal and emotional. The first type of bullying, physical is a type of bulling that will involves the use of physical force. This type of bulling is mostly found at academic institutions, and can involve the acts of shoving, spitting, kicking and even punching. The person responsible for this type of bullying will be in either in a group or wild be strong and larger physical than the victim, with the objective to establish superiority and continued control over a victim. Verbal bulling is the use of hurtful words to care out the act of bullying. The user tries to make the victim upset by using verbiage such as teasing and taunting them. Such verbiage might include the victim’s appearance, the lifestyle that they live, the color of their skin, or sexual orientation. It’s likely that the bully suffers from low self-esteem that bullies to increase their social standings and feel better about themselves.
