BULLYING Have you ever made someone feel uncomfortable? Have you ever thought in the damage you could cause when you bother your classmates, your family or someone else? There are many ways to bully someone, for example physical or psychological. Bullying is when someone keeps doing or saying things to have power over another person. People bully because they may see it as a way of being popular, making themselves look dangerous and in charge. Most of the time, those people were bullied in their past. Generally the victims are at school. Sometimes people are bullied because they look like they won't stand up for themselves. Their classmates start calling them with uncomfortable nicknames, taking or damaging their things, and in the worse of the cases, they start hitting or kicking them. Also they even make their victim do things they don’t want to. If someone bothers you because you’re different remember you’re not the problem, the one who bully is. There are many advices you can follow so you feel secure and confident, because this is a right every person has. You can talk to an adult or a teacher so the one who is bullying feel embarrassed. The talk will also help you to feel that you are not alone because your teacher will take a little more of attention in the situation. It is crucial to break the silence because sometimes even when you already try to ignore the bully by walking away or asking to stop, they continue with the bad actions. Many people who have suffered this problem think that one reason could be their appearance. If you are different, be proud of it because you are original. Stay with a group in which you feel comfortable. It would be less probable that a bully gets close when you are around friends.
