So, many companies need to understand their customers and the marketplace in order to achieve company’s profit. For example, the combination of products, services, information, or experiences to satisfy a need or wants. The most basic concept underlying marketing is that of human needs. Human needs are states of felt deprivation which involve basic physical needs, social needs and individual needs. In this case, Build-A-Bear customers demonstrate the individual need of personalization, creativeness, self-expression and empowerment. Build-A-Bear customer demonstrates their self-expression when they create a bear that reflects their own feelings and personality. Wants is the form of human needs take as they own shaped by culture and the individual personality. Build-A-Bear customer wants to express their ideas and thoughts by making a bear through various process such as stuff station, voice bon,stiching station, dressing station and lastly the station where the bear birth certificate is created with the child-related name.
